BMW Designed a Life-Sized Flying Motorcycle

The Hover Ride, a new flying motorcycle concept by BMW, started off as nothing more than a LEGO creation. It all started when BMW Motorrad, the automaker's motorcycle division, and LEGO began collaborating on a 603-piece BMW R 1200 GS adventure kit. The kit was a "2 in 1" set, meaning that LEGO pieces can be made into two different finished projects. One of those designs was a futuristic flying motorcycle that BMW Motorrad liked a lot, so much so that they decided to create a real full-sized replica. The new ride isn't functional yet, but the German automakers might be on the verge of a major technological breakthrough.
